Have your say – Hawkesbury Avenue Reserve, Sturt
A new playground and reserve upgrade is planned for Hawkesbury Avenue Reserve from July 2023. This project is jointly funded by the City of Marion and the Federal Government.
Key items proposed in the upgrade included but not limited to are:
- New play equipment
- Drink fountain
- Path connections
- Additional trees and garden bed
- Upgraded irrigation system
- Seating
Share your comments to help us understand priorities for types of recreation and play at this reserve. Your feedback and votes will help influence the final design.

What's next?
Following this consultation, feedback will be reviewed and, where possible, incorporated into the final design.
Once the final design has been completed it will be available on the website later this year. Construction will commence in 2023/2024.
