Draft Waste Management Policy

Consultation has concluded

Generation and disposal of waste has substantial economic, social and environmental costs.

We are revising our Waste Management Policy which sets the strategic direction for waste management in our city. The policy outlines Council’s approach to delivery of waste and recycling services to our community in order to prevent littering, reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, and to encourage resource recovery, reuse and recycling.

We want to give you an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft policy.

Please tell us if you support the draft Waste Management Policy or not using the quick poll or submit a comment below.
