What is planned for this space?
Our plan is for new play equipment to be installed and the reserve upgraded. Open Space will be improved with pathways, seating, a shelter, drink fountain, and landscaping.
Who decided on this upgrade?
Council endorsed a playground upgrade for Brooklyn Drive Reserve through City of Marion's Playground Framework which was endorsed on 12 December 2017.
What feedback can I provide?
We want to know what the community priorities are for recreation and types of play equipment.
While we are unable to consider everything we hear, your feedback will help us understand community priorities so it is important you take this opportunity to tell us what you think.
When is this reserve likely to be upgraded?
Consultation comments will be considered and a final design will be completed by December 2020.
Once the final design has been developed it will be loaded onto the website. Construction is anticipated to start in 2020/2021.
