Your call to action - have your say on what your city will be like in the future

There is an old saying, 'if you don’t know where you want to go, any road will do'. Council believes that if we as a community decide on where we want to go, we will reach our goals - and potentially achieve much more.

Council will soon be reviewing its Strategic Plan and the first step in doing this lies in your hands. We want to know what you would like the City of Marion to be like in the future. By taking the time to participate you are helping map the future of our city.

You can:

    Do you have an idea about how we live or work in the CIty of Marion? Any thoughts on how we can create a healthier environment and a more dynamic economy? Or a great idea about how we can better support community wellbeing and cultural vitality?

    What is it that makes living in Marion great?

    Maybe it's the people in your neighbourhood, or your local library. Perhaps it is the shopping, or proximity to the coast. Or could it be the playground at the end of your street which your grandkids love so much.

    We want to hear about the big things, the little things and the things in between that you love about living in Marion.
