Consultation has concluded

The current Community Gardens Policy was developed in 2012 and is due to be updated.

We wanted to gauge your views on the level of support Council should provide for community gardens before bringing a Draft Community Gardens Policy to Council.

We have received feedback from groups that have recently started community gardens on Council land that they have found the application process difficult, confusing and time-consuming. It is hoped that the revised policy will provide clarity on what financial and in-kind support community gardening groups can expect from Council.

    Community Garden - EM Ideas
