How will I enter the building?

There are three stages to the project, and access within each stage will be different. Below are the approximate dates within each stage, and should be treated as a guide:

Stage 1: March 25th to April 23rd. Access to the building through Stage 1 is through the rear doors only

Stage 2: April 23rd to May 8th. Access to the building through stage 2 is through the front doors

Stage 3: May 9th to May 19th. Access will be through both doors for the final stage.

Updated information will be on the internal Making Marion page, and will be communicated regularly from the project team.

    What about room bookings?

All rooms will be available through the construction, with the exception of the community room within the foyer. The Community Development team have been notified and will be working with their customers to minimise disruption.

Is the stairwell included in the refurbishment?

The stairwell will be receiving a cosmetic change only, with fresh paint to align them to the design of the new customer service centre. There will be no structural changes to the stairwell.

Who do I speak to if something occurs that impacts my work?

In the first instance speak with your leader. If this is something that can’t be resolved you can log a question here:

How do I access the JP Service?

The JP’s have been temporarily relocated to the Cooinda Neighbourhood Centre. They will be there for the entire construction to reduce confusion for both the JP’s and our community.
