We plan to upgrade the open space areas for recreation and play opportunities.

Planned sports features* include a multi-sports court or field and a passive sports plaza. The existing basketball court will be removed making way for these features.

Dedicated outdoor event space will enable the facilities to be booked and used for birthday parties, resident gatherings and other Glandore Neighborhood Centre events.

Open Space will be improved with new pathways, seating, a shelter, barbeque, drink fountain, and landscaping.

*Sports elements have been applied for as part of a grant funding process. Final designs will be dependent on  grant outcomes and the inclusion of these features.

We want to know what the community priorities are for sports activities, events and types of play.

Whilst we are unable to consider everything we hear, your feedback will help us understand community priorities so it is important you take this opportunity to tell us what you think.

Consultation comments will be considered and a final design will be completed by December 2020. 

Once the final design has been developed it will be added to the website. Construction is anticipated to start in 2021.

This upgrade is focused on the open space and surrounds. These designs have been created to enhance the look of outdoor areas and provide a range of outdoor activities.  

Yes, pending community feedback. The existing play equipment has reached the end of its asset life. The plan is to remove and upgrade both playgrounds.

We are seeking your feedback on the importance of retaining a separate fenced off junior playground. Please ensure you complete the survey to share your thoughts.

No indoor bookings should be impacted. These are dependent on exisiting coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions.
Construction is anticipated to commence next financial year, following a final design being added on the website at the end of this year.
