At the City of Marion we know that safety is at the forefront of everything we do.

To outline City of Marion's commitment to protect employees, volunteers and contractors an Inappropriate Behaviours Policy has been developed so we can be equipped with responses ensuring we meet our responsibilities while providing services to the community.

  • Do you work in one of our facilities?
  • Do you work alone?
  • Do you handle cash?
  • Do you interface with community?
  • Do you work in the field?

There are a range of examples that means this Policy is relevant to you. It outlines how me manage hazards and what to do in the event you experience aggressive behaviours.

Here you can read the:

  1. Inappropriate Behaviours Draft Policy
  2. Inappropriate Behaviours Draft Procedure
  3. Community Service and Sites - Conditions of use
  4. Hazard Management Matrix

Provide your feedback

We need to ensure this Policy, Procedure and supporting processes reflects all business needs and we are clear about the expectations of individuals and groups utilising council services. Can we please ask that these documents are reviewed by relevant staff in your business area.

Here you can complete the online feedback by Friday 15 November.

If you have any questions about this process, would like to provide feedback another way or would like someone to attend a team meeting to discuss this more please contact Patrice Pearson on 8375 6681.
