The area is beautiful, leave it as it is.

It is clear that the council does not want to retain the existing basin based off the imagery and wording used above. The photograph with the crane is attempting to influence public opinion, portraying the Lucretia Way Basin as an expensive eyesore. The reality is that it is a beautiful area.
