Project Description

The City of Marion is pleased to advise that Council is investing up to $235,000 in upgrading Mitchell Park Oval playground.

Mitchell Park Oval Playground is classified as a neighbourhood reserve and the proposed work will include:

  • New play structures- Combo Swing, Embankment Slide, Trampolines, Timber Climbing Structure and various nature play elements
  • Shelter
  • Picnic setting
  • Landscaping
  • Pathways
  • Drinking Fountain & Rubbish bin

Council plans to remove the old equipment and commence construction for the new playground in the 2018/19 financial year.
