Hazelmere Road Reserve | Dog Park Upgrade

On 26 June 2018, Council endorsed Hazelmere Road Reserve as a designated dog park and endorsed the upgrade of the reserve.


Dumbarton Avenue Reserve | Minor Improvements

At the General Council meeting on Tuesday 26 June 2018, Council endorsed minor improvements for Dumbarton Avenue Reserve including landscaping, drink fountain with dog bowl and seating.


Background

The City of Marion proposed to develop two dog parks in response to community feedback obtained through the development of the Animal Management Plan 2012-2017. The first dog park was officially opened at Reserve Street Reserve, Trott Park in September 2016.

Council committed funds in the 2018/19 budget for the development of a second dog park in the City.
