An Open Space Plan was recently endorsed by Council to provide upgrades to open space across Council. As part of this plan, minor open space upgrades are proposed at Ramsay Avenue Reserve. The existing playground and pathways will be retained.

Along with Stella Maris Parish School, the City of Marion have drafted a design that includes:

  • 3 v 3 basketball court
  • Nature play items such as log steppers and teepee
  • Permanent sports goals
  • Raised vegetable garden beds that the school will help care for

What's next?

Now that the consultation has closed, feedback will be reviewed and, where possible, incorporated into the final design.

Once the final design has been completed it will be available on the website later this year. Construction will commence in 2021 / 2022.

    Ramsay Avenue Reserve Consultation

    Ramsay Avenue Reserve is a local level reserve. The open space at the reserve will receive a minor upgrade with 3 v 3 basketball court, nature play and permanent sports goals to make the whole reserve more appealing. The existing playground and pathways will be retained.

    This upgrade has been designed in conjunction with Stella Maris Parish School.
