BACKGROUND

The RSL Marion Sub Branch had a 5 year lease with Council which has expired.

A report was presented to Council on 24 July 2018 providing information on the proposed lease including additional information of the RSL Marion Sub Branch and its operations. The report and minutes can be viewed here:

ABOUT RSL MARION SUB BRANCH

The RSL Marion Sub Branch is a not for profit organisation and operates in line with the objectives of their constitution.

  • To assist and care for the sick, elderly and needy by providing or assisting to provide, pensions, benefits, accommodation, medical treatment, rehabilitation and other forms of welfare.

  • To perpetuate the close and kindly ties of friendship created by mutual service in the Australian Defence Force or in the forces of nations traditionally allied with Australia and the recollections associated with that experience.
