Tarnham Road Reserve Upgrade

June 2022 Update

Construction will commence in July 2022 with the new developed reserve open to the community, clubs and school from January 2023.

We consulted the community from 16 July to 6 august 2021. We thank those who participated.

At the General Council meeting held 8 June 2021 Council endorsed the revised concept design for Tarnham Rd Reserve for final community consultation, detailed design and construction.

ABOUT TARNHAM ROAD RESERVE

Tarnham Road Reserve (the Reserve) is located along Tarnham Road in Seacombe Heights, between Snowden Street and Calum Grove, and immediately west of Seaview High School.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT

The upgrade aims to transform the ageing site site which includes removing the site’s existing ageing facilities and clubrooms.

Council has listened to the community’s views from a previous round of consultation and where possible included suggestions into the the design.

The design includes:

• Two dual purpose tennis and netball courts with lighting
• Two tennis courts
• A gnarly skate zone with flat rails
• Park warrior ninja style course
• Public toilet
• Pathways
• Shelters and seating
• Car parking
