Trowbridge / Tarturninthi Reserves, Mitchell Park
An upgrade is planned for Trowbridge / Tarturninthi Reserves during 2024. The project includes a new playground for a range of ages and encourages people to explore, play and enjoy nature. The existing play space will be removed. Upgrades to existing paths including replacement of the rubber paths to the eastern side of the reserve is included.
Key elements of the design include:
New multi-station with stairs, slide, fireman's pole, climbing net and climbing wall
Standard swing with toddler seat
Junior rocker
Trampoline
New 3 on 3 asphalt basketball and netball court
Irrigated turf
Seating
Drink fountain
Replacement of existing footbridge
Community Engagement Phase
Community engagement was undertaken for the concept plan during November / December 2022. A community drop in session was held on site 17 November 4.30pm - 6pm.

Please note that construction of the full concept plan is subject to budget availability following the tender process.
