In a global, digital environment - change is inevitable. Our purpose – “To improve our residents’ quality of life; continuously, smartly and efficiently” speaks to our need to continuously be changing, developing and growing to ensure we deliver the best projects and services we can for our Community. As we all contribute to achieving our Organisational purpose we create varying levels of change.

As individuals, we all have varying degrees of acceptance and willingness to change, both professionally and personally. Change requires strong leadership to ensure the success of our staff, projects, and services.

To proactively manage change we are developing a change management framework which will include three focus areas: Skillset, Mindset and toolkit.

Please complete the Change Capability Assessment to help us to begin to measure our organisational culture towards change and enable us all to be working towards achieving our organisational purpose.

The process is:

  • LT download assessment form (fill in prior to LDP process) establish LDP review discussion for Jan/early Feb
  • LT to complete their self-assessment (the word template is on the Making Marion site)
  • Each LT’s leader also completes an assessment of the leader and through the LDP discussion a joint baseline capability agreed
  • LT fills in the shared baseline capability assessment in the Making Marion site - SURVEY WILL BECOME LIVE IN MID JAN (Data will be anonymised and presented to the SLT at a high level)

Any queries please speak to your SLT.

Thanks, Georgie and Steph
