Background

The City of Marion is exploring improvements to Cowra Crescent Reserve, Park Holme, in partnership with the South Australian Government, supported by funding committed by Toby Priest MP.

Before preparing a draft concept plan, we'd like to understand how the reserve is currently used and what improvements are most important to the community. Your feedback will help identify local priorities and guide the future design of the reserve.

While not every suggestion will be able to be included, all feedback will be considered alongside available funding, site constraints, safety requirements and long-term maintenance.

This survey asks for your feedback on:
  • How you currently use Cowra Crescent Reserve.
  • Improvements you'd like to see;
  • The types of play, recreation and leisure opportunities that would best meet community needs.
We're also seeking your views on some broader ideas, including:
  • Whether a dog park is suitable, with choices for the type of dog park?
  • Whether the community supports Council investigating options to improve connections between the two reserve areas, including a possible road closure.
Community drop-in session

Come along to an informal drop-in session at the Reserve to share your ideas and chat with the project team.

Monday 17 August

4.00 pm to 6.00 pm

What happens next?

Once the consultation closes, we'll review all feedback and use it to help prepare a draft concept design for the reserve.

After the draft concept has been finalised, we will then undertake a second round of community consultation, giving you another opportunity to provide feedback before the design is finalised.
