At the General Council meeting 12 February 2019, a Motion with Notice was raised regarding the designation of the fenced area of:

Jervois Street Reserve, South Plympton.

Jervois Street Reserve Playground is one of Council’s most frequently utilised playgrounds.

Due to the high number of visitors to the playground and close proximity of playground equipment there is limited space to support both children and dogs safely.

*Note in accord with the Dogs By-law assistance dogs will be permitted within the fenced areas and the balance of the reserves will remain as Dog Off-Leash areas.

The junior playground located at Jervois Street Reserve was designed to provide a small fenced area within a larger playground and open space area.
