Jacaranda Reserve, Oaklands Park
Background
Jacaranda Grove Reserve is a local level reserve which is scheduled for minor improvement works during the 24/25 financial year. This project was included in the City of Marion Open Space Plan.
The minor improvement works will include the refurbishment of the existing irrigation system with all new componentry.
Community Feedback
We are currently seeking feedback on what other minor facilities the community would like to see within Councils endorsed budget. The options are:
(a) a 1.5m wide concrete path connecting Jacaranda Grove with Mark Place
or
(b) additional tree planting within the reserve
or
(c) a picnic table
or
(d) a seat
Note, that while upgrades to the irrigation system will be taking place, the other options for improvements will be subject to available budget and community feedback.
Feedback can be provided by completing the community survey by Thursday 5 September 2024.
