Background
The City of Marion is currently planning a local level playground upgrade at Manoora Drive Reserve, Hallett Cove. This project was identified as a key priority in the Open Space Plan 2024-2034.
As Hallett Cove already has a number of playgrounds, the vision for Manoora Drive Reserve is to create something a little different – offering diverse play opportunities you may not have experienced before.
A draft concept plan has been developed, with playground equipment options. We are now seeking feedback from the local community to help shape the final design. Some of the ideas being considered include:
Playground equipment (two options to choose from):
Option 1: Flowbars (including sliding and climbing), gyro swing, springers, talking tubes
Option 2: Multi-station with slides, climbing structures, mini flying fox, rope balance, springers, basket swing and talking tubes
Both options include:
- Seating & picnic setting
- Pathway connections
- Garden beds and tree planting
- Drinking fountain

- Completing the online survey
Consultation closes on Monday, 24 November 2025.
We would like both adult and child feedback and encourage you to complete this survey for yourself and then separately with your child.
