Join our Marion 100 Community Forum

We’re seeking 100 community-minded people from different genders, ages, suburbs and backgrounds to be involved in shaping the future of the City of Marion.

The next Marion 100 Forum will be held on 21 May 2024.

Background:

An expression of interest process was held in 2021 inviting all residents and ratepayers in the City of Marion to register to be considered. The purpose of the summit was to learn how we can better engage with our community on the decisions that affect our city.

The expression of interest process was managed independently by a community engagement consultant, who selected 100 people – from different genders, ages, suburbs and backgrounds – to be involved in how these discussions are made. In 2024 the City of Marion is now looking to open the expression of interest again to give the opportunity for new community members to join the Marion 100. Past members are welcome to express their interest again and be considered for the group.

The report of the Marion 100 Community Summit held at the Cove Civic Centre on Saturday 20 November is now available here.
