Will the playground at McKellar Avenue Reserve be upgraded?
No - the playground was built in 2013 and has not reached its end of life.
Will further irrigation be added to these reserves?
No further irrigation will be added. However, the new plantings will be watered by a watering truck to help them establish.
Will a 3 v 3 basketball court be added to a reserve?
Council has asked the administration to explore the opportunity to add a basketball court to a reserve within 1km of Stanley Street Reserve, Glengowrie. The survey asks your opinion of court placement, and a decision will not be made until the survey results are examined.
Will the fence be replaced in the southern portion of McKellar Avenue Reserve?
The fence is in poor condition. It is proposed to remove this fence and not replace it. The mature trees provide a barrier from driving on the reserve.
The white chain link fence around the playground is not proposed for removal.
Are there plans for a new fence around the playground?
This project does not have funding for a new fence around the playground.
