The City of Marion is upgrading the Club House at Morphettville Tennis Club.

This project was identified as a key priority in the City of Marion Strategic Plan (2019-2029). The clubhouse upgrade will improve the functionality of the facility for its clubs and community.

Designed to create a more vibrant and engaging space for the community, with a floor plan that aligns with Tennis SA guidelines.

What's changing at Morphettville Park Tennis Club

• Upgraded clubrooms: creating a modern, welcoming and functional space for members and the wider community.
• Improved accessibility: wheelchair-accessible entrances and compliant bathroom and changing facilities.
• Externally accessible restrooms: located withing the club's secure fenced area and available to participants using the Book A Court facility, even when the club is closed.
• Greater community use: the upgraded clubrooms will provide a modern and welcoming space that can be used by local community groups for meetings and gatherings.
• Improved sustainability: with environmentally preferred materials and solar panels proposed as part of the redevelopment/
• Supporting a growing range of activities: helping the club continue and expand tennis, pickleball, coaching, competitions, fitness and social programs for different ages and abilities.
• A more inclusive facility: designed to encourage greater participation and make the club more accessible for people of all abilities.
