What is planned for this space?

    We have planned for new play equipment and soccer goals. Open Space will be improved with pathways, seating, nature play and landscaping. Refer to the concept plan for more details.

    Who decided on this upgrade?

    Council endorsed a playground upgrade for Oakvale Way Reserve through the City of Marion Playground Framework in December 2017.

    What happens to my feedback?

    We will take your responses from this consultation, comments will be collated into a report that will help shape the final design of this reserve.

    Whilst we are unable to consider everything we hear, your feedback will help us understand community priorities so it is important you take this opportunity to tell us what you think.

    When will this reserve be upgraded?

    Consultation comments will be considered and a final design will be completed by December 2020. 

    Once the final design has been developed it will be added to the website. Construction is anticipated to start in 2021.

    Will a toilet be added?

    No. A new toilet is not part of the scope for this project. This is a local level playground. Toilets are allocated for significantly larger playgrounds.

    No. This is a local level playground and shade sails are endorsed for larger playgrounds only. There are trees onsite for natural shade.
