Your invitation to new Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre!

You're invited to the new Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre!

To celebrate the opening of the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre, we'll be hosting an open community event on Saturday 25 June.


The free event will showcase a number of artworks that celebrate the community of Mitchell Park, including:

- Congregate by project2project (Rachel Harris and Jessica Loughlin);

- Textile artwork by stitchpaintburn (Donna Gordge) and community;

- It's a People Place book by Pete Court and community.

There will also be sports including football, rugby, volleyball, basketball, 'come and try' sessions for all ages, cultural activities, arts and crafts, and much more.

You'll also get to enjoy live music, face painting, roving performers and a variety of food and coffee available throughout the day.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre.
