Background
The City of Marion is currently planning an upgrade at the Roy Lander Reserve, Seaview Downs.
The planned upgrade is for the installation of new active recreation elements to complement the playground. These additional facilities could include:
- irrigated kick about lawn with multi-sport goals
- new cricket net with concrete pitch
- disc golf driving range
- multi-sport court including basketball and netball
- fenced Pickleball courts
- bocce court
- pump track
Please note that the budget for the project may only allow for one or two of the above options so we are seeking your preference.

Next steps
Following this consultation, feedback will be reviewed and, where possible, incorporated into the final upgrade design.
We will let you when the final design has been completed and publish it on this project page. Construction works are expected to commence in the 2024 - 2025 financial year.
