On 25 May 2021, Council considered the community consultation findings for the proposed Cohen Court Reserve Community Land Revocation and motor vehicle connection.
A clear majority were against the proposal, including a number of residents in the new Tonsley development. Accordingly, Council resolved not to proceed with this proposal.
The Master Plan proposes to integrate Cohen Court Reserve with the Tonsley Village open space. Council is continuing to work on how we can provide a regional play space, including shelters, barbecues and walking and cycling paths.
Council thanks everyone who contributed to the community engagement process and deputation.
