Background

Back in late 2023 we asked you for your feedback on what was needed to make the City of Marion a better place, so that we could reflect this in the development of our 10-year Strategic Plan.

We received your feedback on:

  • Your vision for the council area toward 2040

  • What you thought the future challenges for the council area are

  • What priorities council needs to focus on for the next 10 years

Join the conversation
Using the feedback received we have developed our draft Strategic Plan 2024 - 2034, and we are now excited to release for community consultation. Your feedback is very important to us, and we would like to hear from you on whether we got it right!

You will be able to provide feedback on the draft plan in person at the Cove Civic Centre and Marion Multicultural Centre Plaza during the consultation period. Project staff will also be on hand to talk to discuss the plan with you at the following times:
  • Cove Civic Centre - Tuesday 6 August from 9 am - 11.30 am
  • Marion Cultural Centre - Thursday 8 August from 9 am - 11.30 am

You can access hard copy plans at key council facilities.

Review the Draft Strategic Plan 2024-2034 and complete the SURVEY

Consultation is open until midnight Wednesday 14 August.
